The Road-Con Story

Road-Con, Inc. was founded in 1993 with the acquisition of Rocon, Inc., a small southeastern Pennsylvania construction firm focusing mainly on highway widening and intersection improvement projects. Beginning with a handful of dedicated employees and a few key projects, Road-Con has evolved into a prominent West Chester, PA-based heavy civil construction company. Through the years, our award-winning company has expanded into multiple disciplines of heavy civil work, including bridge structure replacements and rehabilitations, drilled shaft construction, toll plaza installation, airport rehabilitation, and structural steel retrofits. Today, we are recognized for providing quality construction, timely project completion, and career opportunities for dozens of hard-working citizens.

Company Overview

The Road-Con team includes Project Managers, Project Engineers, Design Engineers (including multiple licensed individuals), Superintendents, Foremen, and Crew Leaders. Our “front line” personnel are backed by a dedicated support group. This includes a detailed accounting department and an equipment maintenance shop, which is one of the best in the industry.

Our goal on every task we perform is not to simply meet the specifications but to exceed them. We maintain strict quality controls for all of our materials and workmanship. We meticulously plan our projects in advance, carefully consider every aspect of material preparation, and constantly monitor the ongoing project. If an item falls short of our standards, we correct it without hesitation.
